So…my day just got jacked…
We have another snow storm coming in tonight. Meaning, that the Subway’s I work on are already shutting up for the next two days (6”-14”). I wasn’t aware of that when I got to my final store in Kansas City.
It was closed. Due to this closure my 100 mile trip was done in vain. Additionally, I still have two more shops to hit. However, that requires me to go north 100 miles…tonight.
What this means:
My concept of the gym today just got kicked out the door. I’m still eating just fine, water and all.
The reason the gym is a no-go is due to it closing by the time I return; likely to be closed tomorrow due to the storm as well.
To resolve this I’m taking a pit-stop at my apartment. I’m going to take in some much needed core work, shower, and head up north to finish work.
On the road, heading to work. Made a few adjustments today:
Got breakfast in this morning. Cereal, milk, and a banana.
Because I travel for work I packed a container of home made trail mix to munch on between stores.
Most importantly: I do have my coffee, but I also have a water bottle with me. Brita filter bottle. Easily the number one thing I need to improve is water consumption.
Looking forward to killing the gym in a few hours.

I went with my girlfriend to the gym today…
It was closed due to the obnoxious amount of snow we received…yesterday [the streets are currently clear].
So, on the way back home, after being bottomed out by being ready to get a good workout in; we made a impromptu stop.
Downtown St. Joseph
This area is older than Kansas City, and has a ton of OLD historic buildings and nearly no traffic. So, in the snow drifts and partially cleared sidewalks we took off running from the car…alright…jogging…ok…somewhat walking…
Regardless, we did do something today [though she nearly froze to death in the process].
It opened up a new realm to me though; during the weekend this section of the city is locked up and quiet [all government buildings]. Perhaps running along the streets I’d been trying on around my apartment wasn’t the right way after all; maybe my success lies downtown.
ALSO!
My girlfriend is on Tumblr now and needs your support; you can find her HERE!
